Federal Emergency Medical Agency (FEMA) & SBA Information:

You may be entitled to a FEMA grant or SBA loan. You can apply for these benefits. A FEMA grant does not need to be repaid; However, an SBA loan must be repaid. The interest rated for SBA Loans generally range from 2% - 5%. FEMA can provide additional information and assistance for losses not covered by insurance coverage including temporary housing and repair assistance. After you register with FEMA, you may be referred to the SBA (Small Business Administration) for information about a low-interest loan. The SBA is the primary source of federal funds for long-term recovery assistance. The SBA has loan officers in the Disaster Recovery Centers to provide assistance in filling out your SBA application and explaining the program. To register with SBA, call 1-800-621-FEMA(3362) or 1-800-462-7585 or log onto www.sba.gov
